Candy Cane Shaker

Hi Crafty friends, it’s sneak peek time over at Pretty Pink Posh. There will 4 Days of sneaks! The new Christmas Release is on September 18th. So make sure to go check out all the inspiration on Instagram each day. It is packed with so much cuteness!

Today I have the Candy Cane Shaker Dies with the new Candy Cane Stripes Stencil. I have one more sneak on here as well!😉

So I went with a mint and light pink color combination, I love those colors together. A more non traditional Christmas color combination. I just hope it doesn’t look like a baby card!🤣

I took a pink panel measuring a standard A2. Placed it on the grip mat with the Candy Cane Stencil. I took a scoop of Distress Grit Paste Opaque and a few drops of Simon Say Pawsitively Reinker-Spring and mixed it up. Applied it over the stencil, removed it and cleaned everything up.

Next I die cut out the Candy Cane Shaker Dies from the same pink and Spellbinders Mint card stock. Over lapping them and adding liquid glue in between.

But before I added them to the panel, I die cut out the mint with the Scalloped Frames Dies. Everything always looks better to me if framed or matted.

It of course needed more, so I need foliage and a bow! Also coming soon is a Christmas Bell Shaker Dies. It has the bow and foliage needed. Of course I could have shopped my stash but it was just lying there!

For the middle I wanted either an ornament or a bell. There is a darling stamp set coming called Christmas Bells stamp set. I stamped and white heat embossed the one bell. Then die cut it out with the Coordinating dies. The sentiment came from the same set.

I adhered it all together and attached it to a Standard A2 card base.

Then with Star Dust Stickles I added some to the Foliage. And added in the center of the bow a large Pink Pearl.

Affiliate links will be attached once the release is live.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
