Gingerbread Shaker

Hi crafty friends, back with another sneak peek of the Holiday Release coming to Pretty Pink Posh Stamps shop on September 18th! How cute is she?! Obviously, you can make it a girl or a boy. But either way I love it!

I started off by using the new Layered Gingerbread Stencil. Placing it and a white panel on my grip mat. Ink blending on a SSS Cookie ink and then coming back on the edges with the Gingerbread ink, fitting right? I used Waffle Flower Mask Stencils that recently came out to cover areas that I didn’t want to hit with the ink. I did a bubble gum ink for the gumdrop candies. And a gray for the white of the candy cane and the red ink.

Next, I die cut out the Gingerbread Shaker Die. I chose not to make her a shaker. I made the Candy Cane Shaker instead since it was on top. I ink blended on the edges to give her depth, adding pink cheeks and a pink bow with a pink pearl in the middle of it.

For the Candy cane I kept it simple with red and white. Die cutting out 5 layers with both of the dies, adhering them together with liquid glue. Also with the outer die I die cut out a white card stock for the back and a piece of acetate. The beads were from last year, Sweetheart Shaker Beads.

Next with the Wonky Stitched Dies, I took the two largest and taped them together. And ran them through with Lobster card stock from Lawn Fawn for a frame.

Attaching the Stencil panel on a white standard A2 card base. And the adding the red frame on, placing the Ginger Girl in the center. With the Candy Cane shake tilted to the side, so not to cover her sweet face.

I added a pink box from the new Christmas Bell Shaker die set. For the sentiment I stamped and white heat embossed from the Gingerbread Friends Stamp set. Wait until you guys see that set, so so darn cute! After it cooled down I die cut it out with the Coordinating dies.

Can you tell that I’m loving this release?

Affiliate links are attached and will be live on September 18th.

Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!
