Hi friends, it’s RELEASE Day over at Pretty Pink Posh! I love this time of year, and with all the adorable new dies and stamps! Come on, it’s cuteness overload! The new Holiday release has Gingerbread holder, Mugs, and Shakers! Then let’s talk about the Candy Canes going both directions, is literally the best thing ever. I’m obsessed with this release!
I made so many cards, the ideas were just flowing out of my head. That’s why I couldn’t sleep at night thinking on the next one I was going to make.

So for this card I started off with the Gingerbread Holder Die, die cutting it out of Kraft card stock. Ink blending on the edges with SSS Cookie, Gingerbread(fitting), and Cocoa inks. Then with the ink on the glass mat, I added water and splattered it on. No waste here! I added some pink cheeks to her and some eye lashes with the googly eyes!
Next, she needs accessories, so with the Christmas Holder Additions Dies. I die cut out the gift box and ear muffs from red and Pixi Dust Glitter Card stock.

I knew that I wanted her to pop out of a wreath so I pulled out last year’s Holiday Wreath Builder Die set. Die cutting out a bunch of the different sizes of the sprig die sets, I did some ink blending on them but ended up adding Distress Grit Paste so you probably can’t even see the ink.
For the background I used the new Argyle Pierced Plate, and ran it through my die cutting machine with a white standard A2 base. Then I set it in my splat box and splattered on Distress Mica StainSpray from the nozzles. Tree Lot and Wicked Elixir.

I adhered all the sprigs and holly on the circle that comes in the Holiday Wreath Builder Die Set. Then slide the Gingerbread in, snipping her left are away from the body.. This gives the wreath room to move up into the arm. Attaching her on to the panel with liquid glue.

Then with the Large Merry Word Die, I did cut it out three times from white card stock. And the shadow from the darker green card stock.
Next, I wanted a sub sentiment using the Christmas Banner Greetings. I stamped and white heat embossed it on the sage card stock and die cutting it out and the darker green card stock from the Banner Greetings 1 Die set.
Once I had it all adhered together, I went back to the Christmas Holder Additions Die set. And in it is two different snowflakes. I die cut them both out from Pixi Dust Card stock. The smaller one I did two on each one and stacked them by off setting them with liquid glue.
What do you think? Pretty cute having the Gingerbread popping out of a wreath!
