Cauldron and Gnome Lollipop Holder Dies

Hi crafty friends, here with the new Cauldron and Gnome Lollipop Holder Dies from the newest release called Scream Team.

I thought pairing them up as a card would be a fun way to use them other than always as a lollipop holder. I like to make sure to be able to stretch my stash and not always make them as intended.

I started off with a 5X7 panel, masking off the floor with low tack tape. It is about 1 1/2 inches. I have a stencil in my stash that is a Harlequin stencil by Whimsy Stamps. I first ink blended on Spun Sugar Distress ink, then with the stencil and panel on a grip mat. I added Distress Oxide Black Soot ink. After I removed the stencil, I ink blended on the edges with the residual ink on my brush. Next, I splattered on diluted black paint and some Perfect Pearls.

Then I die cut out the Cauldron Lollipop Holder Diesonly on one side that is needed.  I used a two shades of teal for the potion, and ink blended on a little darker ink to give it some dimension. Popping it all up with 3D foam squares.

Now I did the some thing with the Gnome Lollipop Dies, only cutting the one side. I used a Pattern paper from my stash for the hat Then with a light grey card stock for his beard. I used some Copic Greys to swipe in some color in the beard giving it a more natural look.

The gnome needed a broom to stir up his potion. So I went through my stash and found a broom in the Wizard World DiesAlways make sure to shop your stash because this worked out perfectly. I used foam squares to pop up his hands to wrap them around the broom.

I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from my stash which Hocus Pocus is perfect for this scene!

Do you make many 5X7 cards, leave a comment and let me know.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
