Sheltering Love

Hi Crafty Friends, here with a simple winter card using the Sheltering Love Stamp from Whimsy Stamps. I may have gone a little heavy on the gray coloring these polar bears in. Let’s just say they’re very dirty bears!😂

I started off by stamping out the one image onto a standard A2 panel of X-Press it. Then did second stamping on Eclipse Masking paper, trimmed it out and covered over the image.

Then I masked off the edges with low tack tape by about 1/8 inch on all sides. I did an overall light ink blending with SSS Pawsitively Tidepool ink . Next, with Tropic ink I used the Winter Wonderland Stencil for the melting water. And for the tree line I used SSS Dew.

Before I pulled the masks off I did a little white splatter. Once it dried I stamped on the sentiment from the set using my Misti.

Removed the masks and COPIC colored in with reds, pinks, and a little teals.

Once I finished I ran it through with the stitched edge die from the Honeycomb die set.

Final touch I added a couple of clay snowflakes and attached to a card base.
