Christmas Cake Pops

Hi friends, today I have the adorable Christmas Cake Pop Dies from Pretty Pink Posh Stamps newest Holiday Release. I used a whole new color combination for me, and I love it! I love Pinks and Browns together but it was inspired by Simon Says new ink colors, the Ballerina and Fairy ink with Cappuccino ink.

I started off with two standard A2 panel of white card stock on my grip mat using the new Layered Christmas Cake Pop Stencil. Remember, I have two different cards with all the same elements.

Then for this card I framed it up with the Scalloped Frame die with a light pink card stock.

Using the Christmas Cake Pop Die Set, I made just the snowman cake pop. Adding Googly eyes and and Espresso Pearls for the mouth.

Next with the Large Merry Shadow Die, from Lawn Fawn’s Pencil Eraser Card stock and a dark brown.

I still need the sub sentiment and from the Sentiment Strips:Christmas Stamp set, I did a partial stamping of the “Christmas”.

Once I assembled the card I felt as thought the hat on the snowman needed a little something. From the Birthday Cake Pop Die Set, there is a super small bow. So I die cut it out of the Ballerina card stock from Lawn Fawn.

I finished it off by adding Pink Blush Pearls in the center of the bows.

For this one the panel is already stenciled with the Layered Cake Pop Stencil. Then with the Christmas Cake Pop Dies I die cut out the Snowman, Reindeer , and the Tree.

To frame them up I used the Eyelet Rectangle dies, with the two largest ones. I used the Large Merry Shadow Die as well. After I assembled the card I realized I pretty much covered up the Stencil panel. With the Christmas Banner Greeting Stamp , I stamped and white heat embossed the “ Merry Christmas” Die cutting it out with the Banner Greeting 1 Die set.

To finish it off I added the Pink Blush Pearls, and lots of white highlights, star dust Stickles. And Glossy Accents to the reindeer nose.
