Hi Crafty friends, how cute are these Gingerbread People!? This is the Sweet Gingerbread Couple Clear stamp from Whimsy Stamps.
I started off by stamping out the images on to X-Press It Smooth White Card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Then I copic colored them in, with my favorite color combination for Christmas.
E31, E33, E35, E37
R24, R27, R29, R39
BG11 BG32, BG34
E27, E29
C0, C1
Once the coloring was done I die cut out the images with the coordinating dies. Now that I have the images done, I need to make my scene.
So with the I Dream in Christmas Digital Paper Pack, I chose the snowflake pattern paper. Then with a matching teal card stock I die cut out the Inverted Scallops Rectangle Frame Die.
I had to get tricky for the snow on the ground, using the Wavy Pierced Rectangles Die I die cut out enough glitter card stock to fill inside of the frame.
I attached the Pattern paper on to a standard A2 card base, the with liquid glued the frame on. Leaving the bottom open to slide in the wavy snow. Next I attached the Gingerbread house under the snow. With the Gingerbread Mom and Dad popped up with foam squares I added them. Having enough time to slide the house if need be.
For the sentiment, I used the Sweet Word and Shadow Die in red card stock. Cutting it out three times and trimming off the part that lays over the frame with the top one lying on the frame. Next with the ‘Sweet Tidings” in the set I did some partial stamping to get the “Tidings” only. And trimmed it out with Quick Strips Dies and popping it up with foam squares.
The last things I did to finish it off, was add the candy canes to the hands of each of the Gingerbread Couple and add Clay Snowflakes on.
