Igloo Shaker

Hi friends, today is Day 3 of the sneak peeks for the upcoming Winter Release over at Pretty Pink Posh! This release is so fabulous, even thought there are a lot of Penguins. Ii could put a penguin on every single card! Love them so much!

I took inspiration from the Pastel Blizzard Mix for the color combination. Which is so beautiful and perfect for the Igloo Shaker Die Set.

I started off with the background panel using the new Snowflake Background Stencil. By placing a standard A2 panel and the Snowflake stencil onto the grip mat and randomly ink blended on a pink, blue, and purple dye ink. Next, I die cut it out of with the largest Torn Stitched Rectangle Dies attaching it to a lavender cardstock.

Next, I die cut out the Igloo Shaker Die from a pink card stock. And with the whole die I cut out an acetate window adhering it to the back of the pink igloo die cut. Doing it again with the whole die for the backing with the same lavender card stock. Then on the back of the igloo and add foam strips to make the well to fill up with the Pastel Blizzard Mix and attached the lavender back panel. Flip it over and adhere to the snowflake panel in the center.

Then with the new Snowy Hills Border Die, I used one of them and die cut out from a glitter card stock. Before I attached it to the panel, I ran it through with the Torn Stitched Rectangle Dies. When I added the snowy hills, I had to add foam on both sides of the igloo to keep it level with the igloo.

I then stamped out a couple of cuties from the new Penguin Friends Stamp set onto X-Press It smooth card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. COPIC colored in N5-1, B02, B01, B00, V13, V11, V00,YR04, YR07

After the coloring was done I cut the images out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the sentiment, I stamped out the “ Let it Snow” from the Let it Snow Stamp Set with a teal dye ink. Then I die cut it out with the Coordinating Dies and popped it up only on the left side to overlap the igloo.

Since the Penguin was holding onto a snowflake. I decide to use the snowflakes from the Let it Snow Stamp Set. I stamped and white heat embossed them on vellum and then cut out with the Coordinating Dies,

The final touch to this is added Marshmallow pearls to the centers of the snowflakes and one Lilac Pearl to the center of the bow.

Remember this release is available on November 6th! So make your list now!
