Happy Winter Release Day!!! I’m so excited for this release, it is packed with so many waddling friends! And fun sentiments, winter dies and stencils!!
For today I made with the Birthday Treat Boxes Dies with the new Winter Tags Stamp set! These were so fun to make with additional new products from the release.

I started off with half sheets of Neenah #80 Solar white card stock on the grip mat. Placing the Snowflake Background Stencil over the top. I did three different colors for the bases. Simon Says Pawsitively Marine, Seafoam, and Tidepool inks. Because the Birthday Treat box is big you’ll have to slide the stencil down to cover more area. I did add low tack tape over the bottom of the stencil, that way there isn’t an over coverage or a harsh line. Don’t worry about the middle where it will be the bottom of the treat box. So basically you’ll have two area on the half sheet that have good coverage from the stencil. Next with the treat box die, place it over and find the best area to die cut it out.

Adhering the treat boxes together with liquid glue. I did add some pattern paper for the back inside of the boxes. Put once you put the treats in you don’t see it as much.
Then I started to work on my scene for the boxes, by stamping out the Penguin Friends Stamp set and copic coloring them images in. Afterwards I die cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I then die cut out a few of the Winter Trees Dies and ink blended on SSS Tropic ink, keeping the outer edges lighter to look more like snow.

Next with the Snowy Hills Border dies I die cut out some Pixi Dust Card stock from Lawn Fawn from a few of the dies. Afterward I die cut them again with the treat box and used my scissors to cut over the scored line to have a perfect fit.
Since I had the Pixie Dust glitter card stock out, I die cut out a couple of sizes of snowflakes from the Stitched Snowflakes Dies. The two smaller ones were attached with acetate picks and attached to the inside of the treat boxes. I wanted them to be floating.

On one of the boxes I wanted it also to have some snowflakes floating down as well. I stamped and silver heat embossed on vellum the snowflakes from Let It Snow Stamp set. Then with the Coordinating Dies I cut them out and attached to acetate picks.
Then with the Winter Tags Stamp set, I stamped out the tags and copic colored them in. Afterwards with the coordinating dies I die cut them out. I used the hole die and ran ribbon through and wrapped around the candy bag and tied a bow.
