Hi crafty friends, here with the new Cozy Toes Friends Add On Etched Dies from Spellbinders. These dies go with the October 2024 Cozy Slippers Large Die of the Month Club. I love that Spellbinders did an add on that’s so darn cute. It makes a shark, Frog, cow, monster and the Unicorn slippers or you can use them on their own.

I started off going through my Pattern Paper stash to find the perfect paper to figure out which Cozy Friend I would make. And let me say, these are so easy to make. I don’t know why it took me so long to make them. I bought the original clear back then when they came out and didn’t make until now! Okay, back to the project! Rainbows and Unicorns are it!

For the first one! I made it a shaped card using the Perfect Touch Arched Etched Dies. Taking a top folded card base with the top of the arched die hanging off and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then with a white card stock I ran it through with the same Arched die for the top panel. Keeping about 21/2 inches of the bottom white for the sentiment to be stamped on using the Cozy Toes Friends Clear Stamp. With a pattern paper that will work well with my rainbow PJ’s I attached it to the top after it was ran through with the arched die. With 3-4 half inch stripes attached together adhere over the seam. This will give make it look like a floor, wall and baseboard.

Next, I die cut out the Unicorn and PJ’s After I had them all assembled and ready to attach to the panel, I added some thin foam square to the back to try to make them all level with the different layers of cardstock. I should mentioned that I used a paper pack from Doodlebug Designs, they are so good for patterns!

Here with my second one, which I should mention that my initial plan was two sets of slippers on one card. But the sizing just wasn’t working for me.
I started off die cutting the Unicorn Slipper with another rainbow pattern Pj’s. Next with a matching blue card stock I die cut out a panel using the largest Linear Touch Rectangles dies. I thought this would look like a rug at most. Then with a panel that would fit inside I ran it through with Head in the Clouds Embossing Folder. I did stamp out the stamp before, I would recommend doing it first before running with through with the folder. I just got lucky that it stamped out well.
Then I attached the Cozy slippers on the panel with liquid glue with them slightly off a little like there stepping.
