Penguin Winter Holiday

Hi friends, I have been on a Penguin kick these days! And today is no different with the adorable, Penguin Winter Holiday Clear stamp from Whimsy Stamps.

I stamped out the three images on X-Press It smooth white card stock. And Copic colored in with,

B21, B23, B24

BV17, BV13, BV11

BV04, BV02, BV01

YR14, YR17, YR18

Y18

N0, N1, N5, N7, N8

B91, B93, B95 (Eyes)

Once the coloring was done I die cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. Popping them up with foam squares.

Next, with the Slimline Frozen Paper Pack I chose my scene paper with the lavender and blues. Then with the paper I ran it through with the Slimline Postage Die. I also ran the die through with the matching blue card stock for a shadow effect.

Attaching the outer pattern to a slimline card base, 3 1/2 X 8 1/2 inches. Next, the blue card stock was added into the cut out of the Postage die. I then in laid the smaller pattern postage parts. With the Pattern Postage die cut I attached it over the blue with a slight offset to the left.

The Penguins were then added into the three window panels. I still need a sentiment and have an open window. So with the stamp set there is the “Joy to the World” I die cut out three times Joy using the Cutie ABC Die Set from a lavender card stock. Stacking up and adhering with liquid glue.

For the rest of the sentiment I did partial stamping with the “ to the World” by covering the Joy with low tack taper. Patting on the Versa Mark, remove the tape and stamp. Then apply the white embossing powder and heat up.

I knew this was thin enough to be able to use the new Quick Strips 2 Die Set and popping it up with foam squares. I love the drip effect of these dies, so cute!

The last thing I did was add some clay snowflakes.
