Hi friends, the December Clubs are coming on the 6th from Spellbinders! Today I have the Small Die club and the Glimmer of the Month Club! The small die also makes the cutes Owls, but I had to make the Otters because they’re also too cute!

Since I knew I was going with browns for the otters. I thought how cute would it be if I did a tone on tone with the Red Foil and Red card stock using the Soft Hearted Glimmer Plate.

Next, I die-cut out the Otters using Kraft and Truffle card stock. I made the flowers with Pomegranate, Fern and Tutu card stocks from Spellbinders. I used a red glitter card stock for the heart in their paws. I then added foam squares behind the otters, and the larger flowers. Tucking in a few of the smaller flowers from the head piece in white card stock.

To make the otters stand out I used the third to largest Perfect Touch Arches Etched Dies. Attaching it to the Glimmer panel with liquid glue, and then popping up with foam squares the otters and flowers.

I felt like it was missing something so I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment. “I Otterly Adore You” which is from my stash, it’s a MFT set. Adding a few more flowers to the side, but then I had some tiny hearts floating on my desk from the Caboodle Exclusive Gift. There is a heart nose in the slippers, which was perfect to use as embellishments.
