Hi Crafty friends, back with another DieCember card from Simon Says Stamp using the new Nested Stitched Ovals Dies. This one I made it with a window for the adorable Warm Thoughts Stamp set.
I started off with a panel of X-Press It Smooth White card stock and stamped out the image in the middle as far as I knew. This way I could make any corrections if I was off set with the top panel when I attached it.
My Copic Colors I used were:
BG000, BG00
R24, R27, R29, R39
B91, B93, B95, B97
Y11
C0, C1, C3
YR04, YR07
R20

Next, with a standard A2 panel of Neenah I ink blended on SSS Dusk Ink and SSS Night Ink on the outer edges. Then with the second largest Nested Stitched Ovals Die in the center I die-cut it out. This gives it a great window for an image but before I attached it to the Snowman panel. I stamped and White heat embossed the two snowflakes in the set doing a random pattern. I prefer to ink and then stamp and emboss, not stamp and emboss white embossing powder. Then wipe the ink off with a towel afterwards, I feel like the white isn’t as bright white!
Before I attach the two panels, I stamped out the sentiment “Just a Note” from the set. Then on the back of the window panel I added foam to lift it up. Placing it on the other panel with the snowman in the center. If there was any of the back panel hanging out I just cut it off.
