Build a Snowman

Hi friends, today I have the adorable Build a Snowman Stamp set from Mama Elephant. I was going to use this for tomorrow’s Craftroomers Hop but I think this is more of a warm up for me! Tomorrow you’ll see I went with another one of their stamp sets, and it’s way too cute!

I started off by stamping on to OLO Premium Blending Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Copic colored the four images in and with the Coordinating Dies cut them out and add foam squares to the back of the images.

Next, I took a standard A2 Bristol Smooth panel and with Distress Oxide ink blended on Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Uncharted Mariner inks. Then with Picket Fence Cinderella’s Shoes Paper Splatters, splattered on the background panel. And with diluted white Dr. PH Martin’s Bleed Proof splattered on white.

With the Hello Bluebirds Winter Woods Overlay Die Plate, I die-cut it of white card stock. Adhering it directly to the blended background panel and attaching the stamped images.

Then I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from the set. I die-cut it out with a flag die in my stash.

It needed a little more to jazzy it up a bit. I went through my stash looking for some smaller snowflakes. And the Snowflake Frame Dies from Simon Says Stamp was perfect. I die-cut out six of them and stacked them up for more interest.

I added some white polka dots to the scard and sweater. For the scarf on the snowman I used my darker green copic pen and made my own pattern.
