Hi Crafty friends, here with the new Wizard World Release that is now available at Pixi Dust Designs! This is such a fun release for all you Potterheads out there! Of course I had to start off with Ron Mug Dies. I’m going to show you on both ways I made my Ron mugs.

For my first one I always like to make the Ron Mug Dies into the treat box! Using the Ron mug dies along with the Mug Add-on Dies makes the cutest little treat box for a kids Harry Potter birthday party!
Normally, I would just use a color card stock for Ron’s hair. But I used some ink to blend on the color to a white die-cut. Then with a close match of my Copic pens, I went in and added detail to the impressions left by the die.
I finished up die-cutting out all the elements to the Ron Mug Dies and then one of the Mug Add on Die to match the hair color. I do two die-cuts of the head and hair one for the front and on for the back side of the treat box. I will attach the backside of the box to the front side of one of the head die cuts, this way the handle and hair will match up to the front of the treat box. So the reverse side is showing when you turn the treat box to the backside. Adhering it all together with liquid glue. I just added the wand off to the side of him.

For this one I’m using the largest Vintage Scroll Die to make a shape card for Ron Mug Dies. I started off with a folded card base and attached the die with the top die cutting edge just slightly off the folded edge so it wouldn’t die cut off the fold. And ran it through a few times with my Gemini Junior. Next, with the new Magic World Paper Pack I found the pattern paper I wanted and ran it through with the Vintage Scroll die also. For the ends of the scroll I found a solid card stock that match and did some ink blending and add more detail with a copic pen. Adhering it together and attaching to the Scroll card base. Then die-cutting out the Ron Mug Dies again as above and adhering it together and adding on to the middle of the scroll. Adding his wand to the bottom of it. I felt like it really didn’t need a sentiment in the front.
That’s it for my two ways to create with Ron Mug dies!
