Pretty Pink Posh Postage Stamp

Hi Crafty friends, don’t you just love it when an idea comes to mind and everything goes perfectly?! This was the one for me and as I went along making it the more I was loving it!

Since postage stamp dies are the big rage right now, I thought how can I make Pretty Pink Posh have something close to it!

I started off with the smallest Eyelet Square Die and the smallest Eyelet Rectangle DieDie cutting out two of the square and one rectangle from white card stock.

Masking off at the stitching, I laid down the snowmen from the Layered Snowmen StencilBeing careful to add more tape where needed to protect any openings. After I completed all the layers on the three die cuts, I added a soft pink around the snowmen with a small ink brush, basically what ink remained on my brush.

Next was adding white ink splatter and snowflakes. Just add a small piece of paper over the snowmen to protect them, it doesn’t need to be perfect. Then with the Layer A of the stencil I added a Pearl paste for the snowflakes. You’ll have to do it in a couple of steps so keep the paste thin, so it dries quickly.

While I waited for the paste to dry, I die cut the background panel from Pierced Snowflake Plate. Added some white splatter, and a silver shimmer spray.

It was coming together nicely but I felt like it was missing something. With the  Snowflakes Stamps Set I heat embossed white embossing powder on vellum some of the smaller snowflakes. Die cutting them out with the coordinating diesWhen I adhere the embossed snowflakes there is just a small amount of liquid glue in the centers having Marshmallow Pearls over the top.

I had the perfect spot to use the Upright Greetings: Christmas Stamp, and then die cutting out with Sentiment Strips Dies. Adding a bow from either the Holiday Mug additions or Beautiful Bows Dies on top.
