Today, I have the Cozy Spot Dies and the Cozy Spot Add-On Dies. This release is so much fun and if you’re a scene builder then this is the release for you. I got the dies only, but the are stencils that go with these dies to help you with the shading.

I started my scene using the Floor and rug dies. The rug was die-cut from the Lawn Fawn Falling Leaves Paper Pad. I did some inking for my shading on the rug, but not any on the wood. I was trying to keep it from getting too busy.

Then I die-cut out the blue chair and used a B93 to the creases and tufts to the chair. I did die cut out some brown for the legs and just glued them directly over the blue legs.

For the base board I cut 1/4 inch strips and glued them together.

With the new Happy Leaves Texture Plate, I die-cut it out of a white standard A2 panel. These dies have no edge cuts, which is perfect for making a 5×7 card panel!!! Attached the wood flooring, rug and base board.

Next, I die-cut out the plant, pot, lamp, lampshade, kitty and pillow. Add some shading just using my ink brushes. I did add white paws and tail to the kitty. Using a E29 Copic to the bottom of the plant to make it look like dirt.

As I start to lay out my design, I decided I need a partial window from the Cozy Spot Dies. For the outside of the window there is a stencil to give a scenery. But since I didn’t have it I just did a little yellow in one corner and blue for the rest.

This left the perfect place for my sentiment using the Subsentiments Cozy dies.
