For my card today I had to use the LadyBug Shaker Dies. This is the one set I hadn’t used yet until today!

I started off with the new Layered Ladybug Stencil, and ink blended on the black and red inks. Then I splattered on the new Pawsitively Perfect Black Splatter Medium by Simon Says. Set it to the side to dry.

Next, I went through my stash to find a Heart Pattern Paper by Doodlebug-Hometown USA. Die-cut it out with the Ladybug die for the inner pieces.

Once I found the pattern paper I die-cut out the Ladybug with black cardstock and inlaid the pattern paper. I die-cut out the heart for the back and red ones for the side. Of course I had to add goggly eyes and a red ribbon also adding Black Onyx Pearls to the antennas.

Then to separate the Ladybug and the stencil, I die-cut out the second largest of the Pinking Rectangles Dies from white card stock.

The Ladybug stenciled panel is now dry and I trimmed it down by 1/8 inch on all sides and matted with black cardstock. Attaching the Pinking Rectangle tilted to one side. And then adding on top the Lady bug the other direction with liquid glue.

I stamped and white heat embossed the “Bugs and Kisses” from the Lovely Ladybugs Stamp set and die cut out with the Coordinating Dies.

The final touches were to add white highlights and Glossy Accents to the Hearts.
