Hi friends, here with the Cottage Wall 3D embossing club for January by Spellbinders. I actually used this embossing folder twice, also with the Large Die of the Month-Hummingbirds Delight.
When I first embossed this out with a standard A2 panel, I kept it at an angle. But after I colored and went to add the sentiment on, I hated the angle of the folder lines with the sentiment. So after I colored the leaves and flower I ended up cutting the flower out. And re-embossed another panel doing it straight. And popped up the flower with foam squares.
I have to be honest, I dad this in the trash because of the coloring. I just thought it was going really bad, but pulled it back out and continued.
I used OLO markers and Copic markers.

Here is the Large Die of the Month Club- Hummingbird Delight. I went with the Color cube for my color inspiration. I love the big postage die for the frame of the flowers and hummingbirds.
Behind the frame I added foam squares and then the flowers. I did do a little ink blending on the flowers for some dimension.
Then with the background panel I used the Cottage Wall Embossing folder.
For both of the sentiments I used the previously released Birthday Wishes Sentiments BetterPress Plate. Hot foiling white on a black glossy card stock and Black on Hammermill card stock.
It’s so nice to have a couple of birthday cards in the stash!
