Penguin Winter

Hi crafty friends, how cute is this card with the darling penguins from Whimsy Stamps? This is the Penguin Winter clear stamp illustrated by Crissy Armstrong.

I started off with a panel of OLO Premium Blend card stock and stamped out the Ice skating Penguin, the snow hills. Then I masked off the bottom portion and ink blended on a sunrise with orange and pink inks.

Then with the remaining images I stamped each one on separately and copic colored them in. Also I gave it a good attempt of coloring in the ice pond or snow drifts. 😂

Next, I fussy cut out the trees and penguins right on the black lines. And with a Memento Black pen from the back of the image colored over the cut marks.

Before I start to adhere it together I die-cut out the panel with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Adding the back tree directly to the panel with liquid glue. Popping up the other trees and penguins with foam squares.

With the Cutie ABC Dies, I die-cut out the letters for “OOPS!” Three times from lavender card stock. And Stacked up and adhered together with liquid glue.

I then stamped and white heat embossed the remaining sentiment using the “You’ve Got This” from the Penguin Winter Stamp set. Attaching it all together and adding a lavender mat behind the panel.

The last two things was adding some clay snowflakes and white highlights.
