Hi friends, today I am sharing the Quick Card Fronts called Heartfelt Giraffes 2 from Whimsy Stamps. I have to be honest these were funnier than I thought! I usually don’t purchase them, but I was gifted them from Whimsy.
I will go through each card with what I used.
Card 1

With this one I started off with die cutting out the center with the smaller Rounded Rectangle Dies. Then with the next size up I die-cut out a red card stock. To give it the more aged look I used Distress Brushed Corduroy Ink over all the red card stock.
I even went over the edge of the QCF with the Distress ink to make the giraffe stand out more.

Then with the Happy Word Die, I die cut out the shadow from a dark brown and the red card stock. Giving the red a little bit of the Distress Brushed Corduroy ink, then adding some white highlights.
There are sentiments in the cards, so with the Quick Strips Dies I die-cut out the “ Happy Anniversary” from the Brown sheet.
I made a bow out of a red gingham ribbon, but first used the Distress ink over it first to make the white more tan. Wrapped twine around three times adding a gold heart charm to it.
Card 2

With this one I used a smaller Fadoodle Scallop Frame Dies, die-cutting out the giraffe in the center. Then with the next size up I die-cut out another with a white card stock. I found that the blue sentiment sheet was a hard card stock match. So with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg Ink, I ink blended on the white panel. It’s the perfect gray blue match to the paper. Then with the Vintage Script Red Rubber Back Ground, I stamped it over the blue panel using Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap ink.
Next, I die-cut out the “Big” from Big Hugs Die set three times with a dark brown and medium brown card stock. Using the rounded Quick Strips Die I die cut out the “ Hugs and Kisses”.
Did the twine, charm and gingham wrap around on this one as well.
Card 3

With the Rainbow Bridges Dies, I die-cut the panel with the scalloped die and then in the center for the giraffe. Then in the set is another die for the blue mat which is also done with the Distress Oxide Speckled Egg ink.
In the set is the Love that I die cut from the darker brown, as well as the extra Quick Strips to mat the sentiment “Love You the Most” Where I cut off the Love and using the Love from the Rainbow Bridge dies.
The hearts that I added to two of the cards is from the Fun with Words 1 Die set.
