Born to Dink

Hi friends, Born to Dink! When I saw this set I knew I had to have it! From the This is Life Collection over at Spellbinders is now available! I made it and mailed it out right away to my friend that plays all the time! Oh, the retirement life!🤣

I kept it better simple with masking off the edges on a standard A2 panel and ink blended on a lime green ink.

Then I die-cut out the images and adhered them together. The one alteration I made was with the net. I die-cut it out twice from Black and Orange card stock. Trimming out the orange netting and adhering it over the black one.

The sentiments are in the set, so I stamped and white heat embossed both of them.

This is the Dumpster Fire dies and the Crackle Paint 3D embossing folder.

I started off die-cutting out the Dumpster fire and doing some ink blending on the edges. Next, with a standard A2 panel of white card stock and a sentiment strip die. I figured out where the dumpster should move along and set the die there to make a channel for a slider.

Then with a small circle die, using half of it to die cut out the area to grab its slider bar. Next, running the panel through with the Crackle Paint Folder, trimming off 1/8 inch on all sides.

I trimmed out a piece of card stock 3/4 inch in width and 4 inches long. Stamping on the edge the “Pull” from my stash. Placing the strip on the back, I added thick foam strips on both sides to make a channel to keep the strip in line. Flipping it back over adding a round foam circle I attached the Dumpster Fire to the channel.

I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from the set. And popped it up on the panel

How funny are these pills?! This is the Favorite Side Effect Dies from the This is Life Collection. I die-cut out the bottle with the pills. The one looks like it’s bouncing a ball!🤣

With the Brick by Brick Embossing Folder with a panel of white card stock. Then I die cut out a 1/4 inch black strip. And the remaining card stock in a lime green card stock.

I stamped and white heat embossed from the set on the black strip before I adhered it all together.
