Best Year Sentiment Club

Hi friends, today I’m finally showcasing the Stamp & Die Club of the Month for January at Spellbinders. There was a little problem at Spellbinders so it took a little longer for the sample to get to me.

Any how, I paired the Best Year Sentiments with both the Small Die of the Month and the Caboodle Crate Exclusive Die this month.

I went to my trusty Color Cube for my color inspiration! I picked the closest 5 colored card stock.

I started off by die-cutting out the Crate Exclusive Die with the colored card stock. And then with the outer die I made it a shaped card and started to attach the two panels on it. But before I added the white smaller panel I stamped out the “Hello” from the Stamp of the Month.

Next, I adhered the smaller flowers around the Hello. I die-cut out a couple of extra flowers and leaves to finish off the stem.

Then for the Small Die of the Month-Sunny Stems, with the same colored card stock. I die-cut out all the flowers and the black back panel. I wasn’t sure which direction I wanted to go with the top layer so I held off. I die cut out the dark lavender and then also the lilac in the round flowers. And laid it out until I made the decision to go with the lilac for the sections.

Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the “Smile” and die-cut it out with the matching dies.

Then with the 3D embossing folder Crackle Paint and a standard A2 white panel I ran it through my die cutting machine.

Attaching the Sunny Stems panel to the embossed panel and attaching to a standard A2 top fold card base.

The last thing I did was use a Nuvo Shimmer pen over the flowers.
