Hi friends, how cute are the Lucky Animals Stamps set from the Valentine’s Day/ St. Patrick’s Day release from Pretty Pink Posh Stamps. I got a little creative for me on coloring in the background for this card!
I started off with some OLO Perfect Blending card stock and stamped on the Mama Duck and baby. Then with the smaller Pinking Rectangle Dies I die-cut them out. COPIC colored in with some light Y00, Y02, Y04 and YR04, YR07. The top hat was with T6, T5, T4.

Next, I came in and Copic colored the grasses in and did a few flicks for the blades. Then I did the sky with some B00, B01, when I was at the stitched sides I just tried to stay inside of the stitches and keeping a little bit of the white showing. I didn’t mask off just being real careful.

With the new Shamrock Border Dies, I die-cut them out of three shades of green. Lining them up on a card base at a diagonal and attaching with liquid glue. Snipping off any excess on the edges.
Then with the darker green I die-cut out another Pinking Rectangle bigger than the stamped image one to mat it.

For the sentiment I stamped and white heat embossed the “Lucky” and die cut it out with its coordinating die from the Lucky to know you stamp set. For the rest of the sentiment I stamped and white heat embossed it as well but used the Sentiment Stripes Dies to die cut it out. Popping the strips up with foam squares, and adhering it to the panel over the Pinking rectangle die cuts.
