Valentine Pets and Puns

Hi Crafty Friends, how adorable are there bunnies from the Valentine Pets & Puns Stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. I’m not sure why it took me so long to get the adorable stamp set!

I started off by stamping out the image on OLO Premium Blending card stock and copic coloring it in with E40, E41, E50 R20 Next, I fussy cut it out right on the line. Then on the back of the image, I went around with a memento black pen and covered up the white cut lines.

With the Digital Hearts a Flutter Paper Pack I die cut out the pink and red hearts pattern paper using the scallop die from the Spring Rectangle Dies. Then with a matching card stock (Lawn Fawn-Guava) I die cut it out with the stitched die from Spring Rectangle Dies, then ran it through with the Floating Hearts Cover Plate to give it some interest. And with the inner die just die-cut out a white panel. I adhered the white, guava and pattern panel together with liquid glue. With some Lawn Fawn twine that matched the Guava cardstock, I wrapped it around the three panels three times and made a bow. And attached it to a standard A2 card base.

Popping up the bunnies with foam squares on the back.

Next, with the Happy Word & Shadow Die, I die-cut it out of Black and white card stock. I did die-cut out the white happy two more times to stack it up for more dimension.

With the Happy Sayings Sentiment set, I stamped and white heat embossed the “Valentine’s Day” cutting it out with the Quick Strips Dies. Adding foam squares to the back to pop it up.

The final steps was to add a few gems from my stash.
