Large Die of the Month-Spring Specs

Embossing Folder Club of the Month- Spring Stripes

Hi crafty friends, the new Large Die of the month-Spring Specs is now available to sign up for over at Spellbinders! I also have the Embossing Folder club of the month for two of the background panels.

I die-cut out three different colored bunnies, because I borrow the dies from a friend and wanted to get them back to her. Also a bunch flowers from the set as well. I knew that I had some many die-cuts that I would be able to make three cards.. What I didn’t think about was the size of the bunny. So I also had some half sheets of pink, white, and greens done with the embossing folder as well. But the was one that I cut as a A2 panel and it didn’t make it to the card base!🤣

On my first card of course with a pink bunny, I used the EOM-Spring Stripes folder in white card stock measuring 4 3/4 X 6 3/4 inches and matting it on the same darker pink as the larger CED flowers. Add some flair with a pattern scarf and white Specs.

With the All Clubs Crate Exclusive gift (CED) Lively Blooms, I die-cut them out of a little dark pinks. I added foliage from the set all around the bunny to make it look as though it was out in the flower garden.

Popping the bunny up with foam squares helped to be able to tuck the foliage and flowers in underneath.

For my white Bunny card, I ink blended on the edges with a light grey ink tapping off a lot of the ink to make it softer. I should mention this one is a A6 size. Using some Doodlebug paper in my stash, I used for the background panel as well as the scarf. Using from the same Paper Pack I knew the colors would match perfectly.

With the Perfect Touch Arches dies, I die cut it out of a soft pale yellow. Tucked in just a few flowers that matched the pattern paper.

And lastly my Gray Bunny Card, once again using the gray ink to add dimension on the face and ears. I gave this bunny blue eyes and not the black.

With the pink embossed panel I trimmed it down the 4 3/4 X 6 3/4 inches and attached it to the 5X7 card base.

For fun I had the scarf tie in the middle rather than off to the side. And with the flowers I tried to make a natural look head piece.
