Hi crafty friends, the super cute Happy Spring Collection by Simon Hurley over at Spellbinders is now available!
I didn’t think I was going to make three cards but the Bunny Buddy Etched Dies, they’re so cute! I started off with the same colored card stock for all of them. Die-cutting out a bunch of flowers in all the colors.

For my first card I started off with the “In the Bloom Dies” I die-cut out the egg with both of the dies and with a blue ink blended on the edges.
Next, with the In the Bloom Die I ran it through with lavender, yellow, pink and green card stocks with just the die for all the pieces to in lay.
I did run the outer die with a white card stock to glue to the back of the blue, then I put glue down for the pieces. I should have added double sided adhesive to all the backs of the colors then ran them through with the die!

There is the sentiment die in the Bunny Buddy Dies. I die-cut the two colors out and attached the together with Liquid glue. Then with my hole punch I made the holes to run my ribbon through the tied off with a bow.
After I had the egg all made up, I needed a background panel. So with the Petite Tuft 3D Embossing Folder with the pale yellow.

Since I had all those leftover pieces, I decided to make a shaker card! Trust me I still have a lot more pieces and can’t throw them away!
I started off with the In the Bloom Egg and made an impression with a white stand A2 panel. This is done with the rubber mat with the Platinum 6 machine.
Next, with a standard A2 pink panel, I off set the die for the opening and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then with the white panel behind the pink and lined up the egg impression with the opening on the pink panel. Then trimming off the extra white card stock. I used the packaging from a stamp set and add double sided adhesive to the back of the white panel. Leaving one side open to add in the die cut pieces from the first card and some Gina K. Small gems.
I should have stamped out the sentiment before hand! Oh well! I got lucky! I found a perfect sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh, Sentiment Stripes:Easter. I placed it where I wanted it on the card in my Misti. Then with the Egg die I used the die to mold the stamp in the shape needed it to be!
Next, the grass from the set I glued it to the back of the bunny and then adhering it directly to the panel.

For my final card I made an egg shaped card. Doing another Impression with the In the Bloom Egg with a Robin Blue egg card stock color.
With the two smaller Bunny Buddy die cuts I added them with the flowers and small eggs. Adding a flower in one bunny and the other is hiding a small egg behind him!
With all my extra pieces from the first card I adhered some of the pink flowers into the impressed areas. I did need to die cut out a few of the flower centers.
Using the “ Happy Easter” sentiment from the set of the Bunny Buddies! Popping them up with foam squares and attaching to the panel.
