Chatterbox

Hi friends, well if you’re as old as me you may remember the Chatterbox toys! Along with the Chatterbox Dies I also have the “How Old?” BetterPress from Spellbinders February Release.

I started off by foiling the “How Old?” BetterPress in black foils on Hammermill cardstock. I did it two different ways because I wasn’t sure if the Chatterbox would fit, so one was more off to the side.

Once I realized it would work, I die-cut out the Chatterbox in red card stock. Popped it up so the legs would swing with a circle foam.

Next, with the panel I ran it through with the Hemstitch Rectangle Dies (retired). Then I trimmed it down around the dots, and matted with a black mat. In my stash from a Doodlebug paper pack I found a red Polkadots pattern paper to use as the background panel.

Before I popped the Chatterbox onto the panel I decided to color in the letters with my Copics. I kept it pretty simple with C5 and R27.

The final touch that I did was to add Glossy Accents to the teeth and set it to the side to dry.
