From Ink to Petal – BPOM

Hi friends, I finally have the February Press & Foil Club for Spellbinders. At first I got the press plate without the stencil, so it took me a while to make.

Click here for Press and Foil Club!

I started off with a half sheet of Hammer mill smooth card stock and Teal Satin Pastel foil and hot foiled it. I didn’t use the registration sheet, my bad! But it all worked out okay.

While the Glimmer was out I white hot foiled the sentiments from the set on black glossy card stock and cut it out with the dies in the set.

Then I lined up the stencil and ink blended on Simon Says Stamp-Tidepool, Tropic, then went back in for one layer of the leaves with Raindrop and Mist. For the flowers I went with Seafoam and Surf.

Next, with the Arch Labels & Tag Die I die-cut it out.

Then I used the same inks and did a ombré blend on a standard A2 panel. Once I was happy with the blend I ran the panel through the Tiny Dots Embossing Folder.

Adhered the tulips to the embossed panel and popped up the sentiment with foam squares. For the final touch I added three teal pearls around the sentiment.
