Today, I have the super sweet Special Friend Stamp set for the release!

I created two cards with the one stamp set today. With the first card I made a one layer card. I stamped out my scene and stamped out again on masking paper.

After I had it stamped and masked off, I taped off about an 1inch on the bottom to ink blend on the sky with a light yellow as well as a blue ink. Once it was done, I removed the low tack tape and the masks. I do like to go over with an eraser to remove any adhesive left behind before I COPIC color. You can run your hand over the panel and feel it.

For the grass I went I. With my Copics and colored in with browns and green colors.

Next, I colored with my basics

B91, B93, B95,

E40, E41, E43, E44, R20 (cheeks)

YR04, YR 07, YR09

Y11, Y13, Y15

G03, G05, G07

N0,N1,N3,N5

C0,C1,C3

Next, Stamped out the sentiment and bee on the panel, then trimmed off 1/8 inch on all side to mat..

For my second card, since I still had the masks from the first card. I stamped out the center flower cluster and the masked it. The stamped out the second and third. With the side clusters I dropped them down a bit.

Then, I COPIC colored in with the flowers with Y11, Y13, Y15 and C0, C1 on the centers, leaves and stems.

With the second to largest Nested Stitched Oval dies, I die-cut it out with enough room to stamp out the sentiment. Then with the largest oval dies, I cut it out of black card stock to mat the panel.

In my stash I found this pretty pattern paper that made the yellow pop! I then wrapped around with the black sheer ribbon and tied off a bow.

Final touch was adding some yellow pearls around the sentiment.
