Hi Crafty friends, back with another club of the month from over at Spellbinders. Today, I’m playing with the Large Die of the month-Classic Kicks along with the Clear Stamp and Die Club-Good Times and the standard embossing folder-Solar Flare.

I went with a more casual kick with the camouflage converse tennis shoe, and stuffing with the BBQ items and beers makes it the perfect masculine card! It could say “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Father’s Day” on the inside!
I started off with the Solar Flare embossing fold and a standard A2 panel of Alabaster card stock.

Then I die-cut out the shoes, bottles and greenery doing some inking on the edges for dimension. I did not attach the two layers of the tennis shoe together until I had my lay out. Because the greenery and the BBQ utensils will go in between the two layers. Otherwise it will look as though every thing is behind the shoe.

The star on the shoe is from the Small die of the month-Unstoppable. I only used it to make the beer look like a Heineken beer!
Next, with the Clear Stamp and Die of the month, I stamped and cream heat embossed the ‘It’s your day to Sizzle”

When I went to assemble the card, I used thin foam squares in between and around the BBQ utensils, the beer bottles were overlapped and tucked behind the shoe. Adding foam behind the greenery and on the handles. But with the spatula I did it lower on the handle to let the spatula pop up more off the card.

If I was to make this again, I would do the sausage on the fork differently. Maybe have it in between the prongs, I was trying to make it look more like it was forked!😂
That’s it for today, I hope you enjoyed my masculine card!
