Hi friends, today is release day with the new Mother’s Day release over at Pixi Dust Designs! With more funny puns and the cute faces! I just can’t get over this dies and puns they keeping coming up with!

This is the new Grate Mom Dies, I decided to make them look as though they are standing on the floor! This really is helpful with the sentiment since there are no dies for the set.

I stamped out the “Not to be Cheesy But You’re A Grate Mom” on white card stock. Then with the You’re a Cute Tea Paper Pad I trimmed down a piece for the top of the card. Then I found a matching card stock and cut three stripes measuring 1/4 inch and adhered them together. This will cover the seam and makes for a baseboard.

Next, I die-cut out the Grater and cheese adding some shading for dimension. Although there are dies for two layers to give the depth needed.

I popped them up with foam squares, but not where they will go over the baseboard. This will help with keeping them level.

The final touch was adding some gems from my stash!
