Baby Bear Holder

Hi friends, if you haven’t heard the owner of Pretty Pink Posh Paulina just had the sweetest baby girl! So I made this adorable congratulations baby girl card! I know it’s not the usual all pink but I had to pull in the Bear Holder Die so that’s where the brown came into play and with a pop of yellow with the rubber ducky!

I started off with the Layered Baby Wreath Stencil and a standard A2 panel on a grip mat. After I inked up the layers with Pinks, Yellows and the brown inks. I lightly went over with the pink brush again to give the white a little pink color. Once I was done I trimmed the panel down an 1/8 inch on all the sides and matted it to the same pale yellow card stock.

Next, I die-cut out the Bear Holder die from Alabaster card stock and inked it up with SSS Gingerbread ink keeping the center lighter. Adding Googly eyes and Glossy Accents to the nose and a double bow by the ear.

Before attaching it to the stenciled panel I die-cut out the Eyelet Hearts Die from vellum. It’s really cute behind the bear, it looks like it has wings of an angel!

Then I grabbed the Baby Rattle Shaker Die and some Pattern paper in my stash and made a super cute rattle to tuck into the arm of the bear.

Still needed a little more, so I pulled out the Onesie Shaker die for the Rubber Ducky, stars, and hearts. I tried to add the moon but it just wasn’t making the cut. These small die cut pieces were put in places to hide the adhesive to attach the Scalloped Heart.

For the sentiment I used the Congrats Shadow Dies, doing the shadow in vellum and the Congrats in Chocolate Brown card stock.

To finish off the sentiment I stamped and white heat embossed the “It’s a Girl” from the Sentiments: Occasions stamp set. And die-cut it out using the thinniest die from the Sentiments Stripes Die Set. \
