Lawn Fawn fun with food challenge #152

Hi Friends,

Who doesn’t like a Strawberry Daquiri when on a Tropical vacation?

Starting off with the New Lawn Fawn Build a Drink, Beach Stencil, and Enjoy sentiment die.

Previously released- Tropical Leaves and Nighttime Sky Stencil.

I started off ink blending on Neenah Solar White #80 cut to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. Inches. The blended background sunset with SSS Pawsitively Inks, Sunbeam, Citrine, and Pucker. Then carefully inking around for the water with Seafoam using some very small blending brushes. Once that was done I used the moon mask from the Nighttime Sky to cover the Sun. Holding in place masking tape and also while masking off the water. Inking blending the sky with Cadette and Royal inks. Once that was done then cut the Tropical Leaves frame three times. With one of the frames masked off the edge for a white border. Using the new Pouncers from Picket Fence, applied Sprout, Aspen, and Fairway inks. Gluing them all together for dimension.

Now for the drink, the frame was from a light blue cardstock in my stash. The glass was Lawn Fawn vellum, on the back side of the vellum I ink blended some Chili Pepper for a little shadow. Using Lawn Fawn Guava card stock cut out the Strawberries. Pouncing on Chili Pepper for depth. The top leaf was from Cilantro card stock added Jalapeño ink for depth. The Umbrella base was Kraft cardstock. The topper and the Straw was from Lawn Fawn Paper Pack Stripes ‘n Sprinkles. Enjoy sentiment was from Guava, cutting out four layers for dimension. Some of the layers to the word was removed to make it level sitting over the glass. Laying out my design and gluing everything into place. Being very careful with the inside of the vellum area. I actually glued the floating strawberries to the straw. The umbrella to the edge of the glass. Once the pieces were in place on the glass I glued it down onto the Tropical leaves and Enjoy over the top of the glass and frame.

Thanks for stopping by!
