Halloween Shaker with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi Crafty Friends,

I thought I would share how this card was made and with which products.

Pretty Pink Posh:

Layered Spider Web Stencil

Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die

Cauldron Shaker Die

Spider Web Die

Halloween Mug Add-On Die

Sentiment Strips: Halloween

Spooky Glass Beads Shaker

Pretty Pink Posh Layered Spider Web, White Pigment ink and Distressed Oxide Black Soot on Gina K. Designs Lovely Lavender Paper Cardstock.

Cut out with the PPP largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle

Cut out at least 8 Cauldron’s from previously released PPP Cauldron Shaker. Cut acetate around the cauldron. You can pencil around the die with the Cauldron die and then cut just inside the line. You will also need to cut an extra black piece just the same as the acetate piece. With one cauldron frame and the extra black middle piece sprayed with Phantom Mica Stain Spray. Glue the acetate to the backside of the Mica sprayed frame once dry. With liquid Glue, glue the other 7or so Cauldron frames together. Glue the stacked frames to the back acetate piece. You’ll still have the larger black mica sprayed piece to add to the back once the shaker bits are in for the shaker element, glue the backing on.

Cut the Witch Hat and pumpkin face from black cardstock and the spider from Glossy Black. Pumpkin from a bright orange cardstock. The witch band was cut from a purple glitter paper from my stash. Buckle was from a matte silver cardstock. The broom was from Desert Storm or a tan cardstock adding some dimension with a brown ink. The bubbles from the Mug Add-on was from MFT Limelight and the panel of 4 1/4 X 5 1/5.

Heat embossed with Lawn Fawn Black the sentiment. Make sure to use anti-static powder before the VersaMark or VersaFine Black Onyx.

I used white floss to dangle the spider from the sentiment.

You do have to add a lot of the foam adhesive to make the pumpkin and the bubbles level to the Cauldron Shaker. I had two of the 3-D foam squares to the back.

Once all glued together I added white highlights to the bubbles, pumpkin and the witch hat.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
