Make sure to check out Pretty Pink Posh Blog! They are giving away prizes on the PPP blog and Instagram!!🥳 🥳
So my friend’s daughter is getting married this summer. I wanted to make her a card that would have her wedding colors. So I asked what are her colors? Unbeknownst to me there is a color called Sad Millennial!!! Let’s just call it cream!😂
So I started with Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt Cardstock and Simon Says Stamp Champagne Matte Cardstock. Here are my colors, I’m sure it will be very elegant.
Cut out the base to 11X 5.5 inches horizontal, score on each end at 3.5 inches of Vanilla Malt cardstock. On each side take the solid die from the new Floral Semi-Circle Die align it up the straight line to the score line. With your cutting plate align just off the score line run it through the cutting machine. You should now have one long oval base.
Fold the sides in and run the bone folder over the score lines to get a good line to fold in for the Gatefold.
Die cut out Two of the Floral dies from the Champagne Matte Cardstock, glue onto the Vanilla Malt .
Die cut out the new Champagne Flute Shaker Die from the Vanilla Malt twice, then place the inside to have the opening of the shaker. Make sure to tape it in place. I did two of the Vanilla Malt die cuts for the front and back.
Die cut out the solid shaker die from acetate twice, and from white foam to have the dimension needed for the shaker. Then add the center into the foam and run it through the machine. This will make a great well for your shaker beads.
Adhere the acetate to the back of the Vanilla Malt shaker die cut. And then the two foam pieces. Now add the new Celebration beads, and now the second acetate is glued on to the back to seal it all in. Adhere the last shaker die to the back, but flip it so you see the stitching. Some of the shaker is seen when the card is opened. Makes it pretty!
Add the Flute to the front left side at a slight tilt. Make a Bow from the new Beautiful Bows from Champagne Matte and adhere to the flute.
Just to let you know I did get a Velcro adhesive dot from Amazon to hold the sides in better.
Thanks for stopping by,
Debbie
