The Candy Bucket Dies was one of my favorites from the Halloween release. So, I knew right away I had to play with the new Valentine Bucket Additions Dies. Then there was also the Ghost Holder Dies, and with the new Valentine Holder Additions Dies it was a no brainer. I envisioned the ghost floating and holding the shaker bucket full of sweets!
The Strawberry Valentine Mix is always helpful with coordinating my colors to match.
To fill up the Candy bucket I made one of the new Valentine Cake Pop Dies and some chocolate dipped strawberries from Valentine Mug Additions Dies and Fresh Berries Stamp Set with the Coordinating Dies.
Once I had all the die cutting done and laid out my design. I realized that my card needed to be a 5X7. So I took the previously released Pierced Heart Plate die and did some creative die cutting. I did start off with the 5X7 pink panel. Did my first cut with the cutting plate off set and then slide up the plate to make it align up as best as possible. There is a small overlap, but the strawberries do cover it up. Since the width of the plate is 4.25 inches I wanted to mat it with a red card stock by 1/4 inches.
Some finally finishes are the sentiment from Valentine Greetings stamped out in black on white card stock and die cut out with the Coordinating Dies. To make the chocolate shine I added Glossy Accents on top. And to the garland of hearts wrapped around the Ghost I added some sparkle of Star Dust Stickles.
Remember to hop along and check out Day 1!
Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
