Build-a-Heart

Hi friends, today I am sharing the Build-a-Heart Die! For Christmas I bought myself a new Anna Griffin Empress with large plates! And it is wonderful! Went to my color cube and grabbed colors that I loved for Valentines! Choose the colors that matched best and went to town on die cutting! Only having to do one run through, I also die red and Glossy White. Once they were cut I threw it all into a Large Craft Stax Tray Set. That way when I needed more I was all set.

Let’’s get started!

I started with the XOXO Pierced Plate Die, and ran it through my P6 with the Rubber Mat to make a more pillow look rather than a pierce. Trim it down on all sides by 1/8th inch. and mat with the brighter pink.

White heat embossed the sentiment from the Upright: Valentine Greetings. Die cut it out with the Sentiment Strips Die.

Next was the bow from Valentine Bucket Addition Die Set that I needed to cover the two dies when they are overlapped. Place in the center the white heart from the Strawberry Valentine Clay Confetti, pop up with foam tape.

From my stash I have a light pink and white twine I wrapped around the panel three times and tied in a bow. Attach the heart on and adhere to a portrait top fold card base.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
