Holly Hock in Bloom

Hi friends, today I am sharing the new Holly Hock in Bloom stamp set illustrated by Kelly Taylor. When I initially colored it I did the top one in a pink color. Then when I went to design the card realized it didn’t work with the Glossy Card Front: Bright and Shiny Day card front that I used. So I did a glazing over with another Copic color. Taught by Kelly Taylor herself!

Stamp and colored two of the Holly Hocks from the set.

COPIC Coloring guide:

First color for the top one:

R81, R83, R85, RV17 Glazed over with YR12

G46, G43, G40

2nd Holly Hock:

YR12, YR14, YR16

YG21, YG23, YG25

Center Y11

Next trim out with the Coordinating Dies pop up with foam squares on the darker floral.

For the window I used the new A2 Scallop, Arches, and Window Dies. I used Barely There and a light brown card stock matted on the Orange CS. Adhere the window over the trimmed down A2 Glossy Card Front: Bright and Shiny Day

Stamp out a sentiment from the set and trim out with the matching die and Pop up with foam squares.

Adhere the lighter flower with liquid glue then add the second over to the side a bit. Trim off the extra that goes over the card base.

Lastly, added a few of the sequins, added some gold Glitter Stickles over the holes in the sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
