Hi friends, don’t you love it when you have a thought in your head and it comes out perfect?!!
I started off die cutting out the cuties and the flowers from the new Easter Bucket Additions Die. I thought I need more body and die cut out one of the portions of the Fringe Egg, but it wasn’t necessary. For the head I used the Chick die. And the knees are from a the previously released Big Easter Cupcake Die. The inside of the ears, I used the inside portion of the bow once die cut out. The scrap you usually throw away! For the Black sheep I knew the eyes wouldn’t show up so I used some googly eyes!
On all the die cut pieces I did some inking on the edges to have more depth for the edges.
Card Stock Colors:
Spellbinders: Beeswax
Lawn Fawn:Tide Pool
C9: Sweet Pea
With the size of the three lambs I went with a 5×7 card. I took a panel and ink blended on light SSS Marine ink, if it was blotchy that was okay to make it look like cloudy. Then stamped the sentiment directly on the panel from the Easter Greetings Clear Stamp.
Next to die cut out the Grass Border Die, I had to slide the die down after the first partial cut. It locked in perfectly! And off set the cutting plater to finish the cut to make it long enough for a 5X7. Cutting it out three times for layers. I used SSS Aegean ink to give some depth on the blades. There is a thin layer of foam behind one of the layers of grass.
Trying to stay in the use groups of three and have odd numbers. There was a gap in the sky and I need something blue. So I die cut out a butterfly from the new Butterfly Border Die.
I decided to add some highlights on the images, I may have gone over board a bit!
