Hi fellow crafty friends! Today with the Christmas Bells Shaker Die I went with a more traditional color combinations. If you have been seeing a lot of my Christmas cards and especially with Pretty Pink Posh Stamp I have been doing red, pink and teal cards.
So starting with the Argyle Pierced Plate I ran it through my Platinum 6 and a white standard A2 card panel. Next, I ink blended on the SSS Pawsitively inks: Dew, Mist and Raindrop inks. I love these colors! And then did some white splatters for that snowy effect! Also adding some gold splatter and setting it to the side to dry.
Then with the Christmas Bell Shaker Die with both of the dies taped together, so the inner will cut out. I die cut it out from Metallic Gold Card stock, as well as running it through with a heavier white card stock five times. To stack up for the Shaker well.
Next, with the one die for the outside portion, I die cut out a piece of acetate and also a metallic gold. But before I used the gold piece for the back of the shaker I ran it through with the Argyle Pierced Plate for interest. Attached it together with the gold then the acetate, and the stack of the well. Filled it up with the Holly Berry Clay Confetti Mix, and then attached the pierced gold bell.
Then in the Christmas Bell Shaker Die Set there is some foliage, I die cut it out of some sage card stock and Pixie Dust glitter card stock from my stash. On the Holly leaves I added some of the same inks as the panel for some dimension. I’m not sure if it added very much to this card. But before I started to assemble the foliage, I used a spatula knife to add some Distress Grit Opaque paste to the foliage.
I decided to use a red glitter card stock for the bow and off set it with a green glitter card stock as well, adding a Gold Metallic pearl to the center of the bow.
To finish this card off I stamped and gold heat embossed the “Jingle all the Way” from the Christmas Banner Greetings Stamp Set, on a dark green card stock. Once it was cooled down I trimmed it out with the Banner Greetings 1 Die Set. You know what that means with the one, there will be a two!
