Monster Halloween

Hi crafty friends, back with the Monster Halloween Clear stamp. But I used a lot more die cuts this time from Whimsy Stamps.

I started off with no plan! So I stamped out the two images with Copic friendly ink and paper.

COPIC Coloring Guide:

YG23, YG25, YG17

YR02, YR04, YR07

V04, V05, V06, V09

C0, C1, C3, C5

At first I used the Coordinating dies, but after I started to have a plan. I ended up fussy cutting right on the black line. Then with my Black Memento pen I went around the edges to cover the white cut paper.

I decide to make a scene with the Haunted Paper Pack. After I chose my Grave Yard scene because I had the colors closes to what I colored my Monsters in. I then made the decision to go with a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 Card base.

So to fill up my scene with the two Monsters, I pulled out the Build-a-Graveyard Dies. Die cutting out the fence, cat, skulls, and tombstones.

With the Tombstones I stamped on with the Grave Epitaphs Clear Stamp then ink blended around the edges to grime it up a bit.

For some reason I thought it needed a spooky tree, not thinking about where a sentiment would go. So under neath the EEK! Word and Shadow Die, there is the tree from Haunted Graveyard Border Dies.

I only popped up the monsters, and two of the skulls, the rest are attached with liquid glue.

I really think that die cutting off the white from the images was a good call. Not sure on the tree, but doesn’t ruin the card by no means.

What do you think? We all make mistakes, do you just roll with it? Let me know in the comments.
