Sip Sip Olé

Hi friends, the new release is out over at Spellbinders! And the new Happier Hour Collection is fabulous! I started making the Sip Sip Olé Etched dies just as soon as I got it!

There is two other dies in the collection, a Sundae perfect for birthdays. And a Martini Glasses which is definitely great for a wedding card or anniversary!

I started by die cutting out the glass, and there is salt on the rim! So I die cut it out of white card stock. Next, I applied Glossy Accents and then sprinkled Distress Glitter, Clear Rock Candy. Set it to the side to dry. Then for the most part the card stock used is lime green, red and yellow and alabaster.

For the back ground I die cut out the Linear Touch Rectangles and Tag Dies from the lime green card stock. Next, I had a white panel on my desk that fit perfectly inside the panel. So I ran it through the Crackle Paint 3D embossing folder. I then matted it with black card stock using the A2 Matting Basic A Dies using the second to largest die.

I assembled the Margarita glass all together with liquid glue, Slicing the lime to fit into the glass. I was setting up my scene and it was feeling empty, so I die cut out the flowers, skull, and the sombrero.

With Sip Sip Olé Sentiments, I hot foiled on to Raven Card stock using Glimmer Hot Foil-Gold Foil. Using the die in the set to cut it out. Popping it up with foam squares.
