Hi Crafty friends, I’m here today with the Slice of Cake Dies from Pixi Dust Designs Scream Team Release. This is the die that helps create all the adorable 3D boxes for the Drake and Franky. And I’ll be sharing soon the Mummy and Pumpkin gift boxes.

With these Slice of Cake gift boxes you can put in them like 3 Lindor candies or a Halloween size small packet of M&M’s. I wish there was a gift card this shape.

To start off on them I went to my pattern paper stash, And found the colors that I wanted to go with. Of course there is a chocolate one, so brown polka dots with a raspberry filling.

On the other one, I was trying to make it look like a peppermint cake of something. It may look more like a peppermint cheesecake!😂 So I found with Lawn Fawn a striped pattern paper with the red, pink and gold metallic stripes in my stash.

I found them easier to assemble using liquid glue. It drys fast enough, with me holding it in place or with tweezers.

You could even stamp a sentiment on the inside before you assemble it all together for a sweet little surprise.
