Hi Crafty friends, I decide to make a slimline for today using the Penguin Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh’s recent Winter Release. Also I played with the Decorative Squares Mask Stencil.
I started off with a white panel measure 3 1/2 x 81/2 inches. Placing the scallop stencil over the panel on a grip mat. Now just to let you know you’ll have to do some math to get the spacing right in between each of the squares. I ink blended in the scallop centers with a SSS teal ink. Then with the stencil still in place I layed over the Twinkle Stencil on top and ink blended on a darker teal to create a pattern within the square.

Next, I went back with the mask and did the outer parts in a darker teal ink. I was careful and use a tape runner on the side to the panel to help hold the mask in place.
When it came close to the other square I was very careful to not let it overlap. Moving the mask down I did the next area around that scallop square and repeat to the next until I was happy with the blending.
Next, placing the masks over I did some white splattering. I wasn’t too concerned if a little got into the squares. setting it to the side to dry.
I then stamped and copic colored the Penguin Friends stamp set. I only need three penguins and a hat, so it was real easy and simple to do. Afterward I die cut them out with the Coordinating dies..
Next they needed a little something else. So I found the Christmas light from the Christmas Holder Additions Dies fit perfectly into the square. I die-cut them out of metallic and glitter card stock.
For my sentiment I die-cut out the Let It Snow Shadow Dies from white and teal card stock popping them up with foam squares.
As I laid out my design I decided to use some of the small snowflake from the set and stamp and white heat embossed them directly onto the panel and one on vellum to place in the penguins flipper.😂
