Magical Fuchsias

Hi friends, today I have the Magical Fuchsia BetterPress Plate by Alex Syberia over at Spellbinders.

I thought it would be fun to see if I could Bright Pink Foil on to Blush Card stock with the Magical Fuchsia BetterPress Plate. And the big IF is what it will look like when I use the Layered Magical Fuchsia Stencil. I was hoping that the blush was light enough so when I applied the green ink for the leaves it wouldn’t look like mud. I think it worked really well!

When I foiled the first Fuchsia I did it on a half sheet of Blush card stock. So I thought why not do another to make a full handing fuchsia, mine usually is! I placed it on the card stock close to the other one but not overlapping. Lifting the plate enough to slide the foil in between and placed it on the heated up Glimmer machine. It worked like a charm and didn’t move!

Next, I applied ink on with the stencil in place. For me was trying to remember which parts needed the pink and the downward portions needed the purples! UGH! Once the inking was done I die-cut it down with the inner Linear Touch Dies. With a Blue Purple card stock A2 panel I ran it through with the lined Linear Touch Dies.

For the sentiment in the set I went back and hot foiled in black foil with the same blush color cards stock and popped it up on the lower portion of the panel. Added a few pink pearls in my stash.

This was really pretty simple to make.
