Hi friends, I’m finally getting around to writing up the blog post for this card I posted yesterday with the Small Die of the Month Club-Ready to Roll, Embossing Folder Club-Poolside and the Clear Stamp and Die Club of the Month-Burst of Summer.
I started off by swiping on Distress Ink -Lost Shadow ink cube across a panel to make it look like a wood floor. I didn’t know how wide I wanted the panel to be so I just set it to the side.
Next, with the Poolside Embossing Folder and a A2 panel of Neenah card stock I ran it through with the P6 cutting machine.
Then I die-cut out the elements from the Small Die of the Month-Ready to Roll. I should mention that when I saw this set I had to make it for my daughter who is going to Italy in August. And I am going to her place for the two weeks to watch her fur babies. I think Quinnie will be very sad not having mom at home for all the hugs. I’ll do my best but the kitty is very scared of me.

I should also mention, when I die-cut out the kitty and dog I used a white card stock and ink blended on with a dark gray. This was the face still showed up.
I adhered all the elements together with liquid glue and popped them up with foam squares.
Now that I have all the elements made, I laid out the design. I wanted to make sure there was enough floor and enough of the wall with the embossing folder panel. After I glued down the two panels onto a standard A2 card base. I trimmed out three strips of white card stock measuring 1/4 inch and attached them together with liquid glue. Then attaching the stripe right over the seam of the two panels, this is the baseboard.
I added foam squares to the back of the suitcase and the dog, making sure the baseboard wasn’t in the way of the foam squares.
Next with the Clear Stamp and Die Club, I stamped out the “Let’s See Where this Goes” and white heat embossed it on black card stock. Using the matching die to cut it out and popping it up with foam squares!
