Always There Release-Mr. Snappy

Hi crafty friends! The new Always There Release has hit the shop over at Simon Says Stamps! Packed with all kinds of goods for everyone!

I received the adorable Mr. Snappy Stamp Set, which is so perfect for Father’s Day!

My first card using the Mr. Snappy Stamp set and the Artful Palette Stencil on a slimline card panel. I evenly spaced out the three large circles and ink blended on SSS Pawsitively Marine ink.

Next, I stamped out the three images with their accessories. Copic coloring them in with the same color combo.

I don’t have the Coordinating dies, so I used my scan and cut to trim them out and attached foam squares to the back.

Before I started to add the images over the circles, I stamped out a sentiment into each of the circles.

Since the panel is 3 1/2 X 8 1/2 inches, I have a 12 X 12 pattern paper that went well with this. So I cut it down the 4X8 3/4 inches to mat the panel, and it still fits in an envelope. I popped on the images and the card was complete.

For my second card, I stamped out one of the Mr. Snappy image with his work bench. Copic colored him in with red and greens, once I was done I cut him out with my scan and cut. I was worried this was too Christmasy! But I found this fun pattern paper in my Christmas paper stash that worked well. I die-cut the pattern paper to a standard A2 panel.

Next, with the second and third largest Squovals Wafer Dies I die-cut out a panel of white and then a red one to frame it up. Before I started to assemble my card I grabbed my blue dye ink brush. And with the residual ink on it I did circular motions in the center of the panel.

Then with the images in place but not connected I stamped out my sentiment directly to the panel.

I then popped up the images with foam squares and attached to the center of the white panel.

Attaching the two panels together with liquid glue and adhering to a top fold card base. The final step was adding some green pearls from my stash.
