Hibiscus Bloom – Press & Foil Club

Hi crafty friends, here with the new Press & Foil Club for June over at Spellbinders!

I have to admit I did this card three times to get it right! I ended up doing the BetterPress plate with Lawn Fawn Jelly Fish dye ink. I went in with my Copic pens coloring in very carefully!

Alcohol markers used:

OLO-RV1.8, RV1.7. RV1.5. RV1.3,RV1.1

YR18,YR16, YR15, Y35,Y11

YG67,G46, G43, G40

YG17, YG25, YG21

I found the hardest part was the stamen, it was better to color them in first to have a general idea where they are.

After I was done coloring I used the die in the set to cut off the outer edge. Next I found Spellbinders Mahogany card stock that matched the inner of the flower and hot foil the sentiment directly on it with gold foil.

Before I attached the floral panel onto the Mahogany card stock, I trimmed off a 1/8 inch on the three sides.

Final step, I add some gold pearls around the sentiment and toward the flowers.
