Hi friends, super excited to share this month’s projects using the August Clubs from Spellbinders. They are Spooktacular! Today, I have the Press and Foil Club – Boo! Humbug!

I will say I do prefer to foil over using the BetterPress plate System but for this one it was perfect. It’s just so mess that’s why I’m not one to gravitate towards it.

I started off with a half sheet of Peridot Card stock taped on the corners to the Platen and place the ghost on the Chase. There is a registration sheets in with the set but I felt there was no need for it. After I inked it up I ran the system through my Platinum 6 machine.

Using the third largest of the Essential Arches die (out of stock) I cut it out. Then with the Color Block Accent Arches Dies (on Sale!) I cut the two layers out of Black and the Peridot card stocks. Attaching them together with liquid glue.

I decide to Hot Foil the sentiment from the set. Using a small piece of Black foil and Best Ever Craft tape, I taped on the sentiment over the top of the foil. Placing it on the heated glimmer system. I know I was taking a huge risk! It came out perfect and I adhered it to the Color Block Arches panel.

Using the larger Essentials Arches die I made my card base by off setting the die on the folded card base.

From the set I die-cut out the cute ghost and attached him so the bottoms of both ghosts matched up..
